I have perfumes that correspond with my favourite original/fan characters, from Lush. Specifically for that purpose.
Yep.

1000 Kisses Deep - (mandarin, myrrh and musk) - Giles Darling, my ridiculous WWII era mathematician. He’s mostly a mathematician in my head, until I get bored and decide that he’s also a courtesan in the mid-1800s, if only to give me an excuse to write pirates, porn and blatant angst.
Ginger - (ginger, mimosa, juniper) - Ingus, my ridiculous, straight-laced soldier.
Dirty - (spearmint, thyme, sandalwood) - Setzer Gabbiani, who I used to rp obsessively, because… yeah. It’s Setzer Gabbiani, that’s why.
The Smell of Weather Turning - (oakwood, english peppermint, hay, nettles) - Hershel Layton, who I rp with a good friend of mine and occasionally write fic about when I’m bored.
Dear John - (lime, pine, clove, cedarwood, coffee) - John Watson. Not even kidding. And I found it in solid form. It goes perfectly with my stupid, stripey jumper.
… Yeah, so, I’m mildly obsessive, but it actually helps with writing, sometimes.
But it’s mostly an excuse to eventually buy every existing solid perfume from Lush. (I used to work there. Can you tell, at all?)

My WOMAD (World of Music and Dance) Lush Palette <3
Because I feel like taking lots of Lush pictures. :D
I live on the estate where the WOMAD festival is taking place (and thus get to hear my shutters rattle with the OONTZ OONTZ OONTZes of the distant music), so I get the divine luxury of not having to choose between my Lush products and having a real goddamn shower. Oh, and free tickets for putting up with the traffic / drunk people / rich bastards that are paying an obscene amount of money to camp out in my garden.

(Pictured above: my back garden path, our trampoline, lichen, rich bastards who spend literally up to £2300 to sleep in my back yard.
Pictured below: what they make it look like on the website.)

OKAY. Anyway, nobody cares, so onto the Lush! Totally abused my little sister’s dollhouse for this, but oh well. :D

(Pictured: Dirty Springwash Shower Gel, Jungle Solid Conditioner, Jackie Oates Colour Supplement)
I absolutely love Dirty Springwash. It is the singlemost abused bottle of shower gel that I own, simply because it gets the kick of Freeze and the nice, kind of chill and outdoorsy scent, like Tramp. Also, the smell of menthol! Hair softening properties! AWESOME!
I’ve always been a fan of Jungle since I worked there a few years ago and, again, the scent is rich and feels like it belongs outdoors. I’ve gotta swipe it several times over my hair, but it smells delicious and does wonders when I’m not in the mood for American Cream.
Jackie Oates is my newest buddy. Tried it a few weeks ago as an alternative to my old concealer (that I no longer used, since it was ancient and drying out) and it works like an absolute charm. I was glad to find it, as the other dark/light pinks/yellows didn’t really fit my skin tone. (It’s also amazing at covering up hickies, :D )

(Pictured: 9 to 5 Cleanser, Eau Roma Water Toner, Godiva Solid Shampoo Bar, Buffy Body Butter)
9 to 5 is something that I tried at about the same time that I got my Jackie Oates and it works like a charm. I’ve already removed an entire day of festival muck, dark eye make-up and Jackie Oates- and I expect I’ll do it again tonight, so that’s why it’s up here on my festival list. <3 Absolutely essential.
Eau Roma Water is my favourite toner. Just perfect for a swift puff of cool air, a nice scent and something to soften my skin a bit. <3
Godiva is a long-suffering product of mine. It goes through being taken overseas to visit my dad, being slung around in my very dented travel tin and being scrubbed vigorously all over my hair, but it doesn’t complain very often. :D It’s always there for that whiff of jasmine and ylang ylang and that bit of extra hydration that I need with its cocoa butter. Amazing for travel, if you let it dry properly!
Last but not least is my personal favourite, Buffy the backside slayer. :D Aduki beans and shea butter scrub and moisturise perfectly, as you’d expect from one of the wildly popular Lush products. <3

(Pictured: It Started With A Kiss lip tint, Ice Blue soap and Ocean Salt.)
Ocean Salt is my answer to hangovers where your skin feels greasy and miserable and you need the salty shove to get back out of bed and into the living world. :D This pot hasn’t been used yet, but I’ve got about fifty itty bitty sample pots that my former coworker heaped in my bag when I went for my last Lush USA visit, so I’m definitely using it. <3
Ice Blue smells incredible. I used to use it to shave until I got the Dirty shaving cream, but now I just use it for a soft, almost kind of creamy mint smell. Compliments Dirty Springwash peeeerfectly.
It Started With A Kiss is a wonderful lip tint, although I hate that I missed Snow Fairy! It can get a bit too red, so I tend to blot it out a bit with some tissue and it looks much better. :D
OKAY.
That’s about it, I guess!
I will stop pretending that people totally care about my Lush product choices. :D
